Product Description CANCER! Nearly everyone knows someone who has had it. But do we know well the Bible's teaching that will strengthen us in the face of it? Everyone undergoes testing and trials. But do we do so trusting firmly in the goodness, wisdom and power of God? Here is a book that will help. 'My God Is True!' is one man's chronicle of cancer and the lessons he learned through it. In these pages Paul Wolfe tells his story of diagnosis, treatment and survival, and he points to the glory and grace of God along the way. Above all he points to the faithfulness of God whose promises will certainly prove true. Read this story and be reminded that there is good reason - even in the midst of suffering -- to worship and rejoice.

| Customer Reviews: A very personal story that addresses some very hard questions October 27, 2009 Harold M. Olson Jr. (Williamsburg, VA) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Although this book has specific applicability for anyone facing cancer I think it would be helpful for anyone having or helping someone dealing with a serious illness. I have been treated for prostate cancer and although my prognosis is good I have been confronted with almost exactly the same questions that Paul Wolfe addresses so well.
Helpful and Worthwhile May 22, 2010 Robin Debson (Richmond, VA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book deals with the deeper, spiritual issues relating to trials, in general, and cancer specifically. Wolf deals with questions such as, "Is it God's will for me to have cancer?" But because the book is written as a memoir, it has the life-story dimension to keep it from being doctrinally dull. Although the topic is serious and Wolf does not shy away from the struggle the overall tenor is more hopeful than depressing.
Dick May 28, 2010 R. Hoover This book offers true hope for anyone suffering from a critical illness. The author is a cancer survivor who was able to capture the truths that God wanted him to share with others
The Sovereignty Of God December 3, 2009 Lavonne F. Holmes (clinton Oklahoma) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
In this limited autobiography, Paul Wolfe describes a period in his life, his first year of marriage and in the process if finishing seminary training for a ministerial position, when a diagnosis of cancer interrupts his plans. From the onset Wolfe acknowledges the complete soverignity of God. He knows that God has a plan and goal for all His Christian children.
During the year following the onset of cancer, God will increase Wolfe's faith and devotion to God and will teach him to trust completely in God. Mr Wolfe's test of faith prepares him for his next step in service to God as Associate Pastor of New Hope Presbyterian Church in Fairfax, Virginia.
This read will certainly increase the reader's ability to trust God to handle whatever test or trial may be occur as one's life unfolds.
