Encouragement and hope January 26, 2007 T. Bradley (Chicago, IL) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I am a 37 year old that has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. A good friend of mine found this book and gave it to me. I can't begin to tell you how comforted I feel while reading through these pages. God is speaking to me through these words and whispering that He is right here with me on this journey. I still have my moments when I feel scared, but when they hit, I reach for "Praying Though Cancer" and in moments I feel His presence and all of the comforting words of women who have been through this before me. God Bless you for such a beautiful book!

I highly recommend this book for any woman going through a cancer diagnosis. Each daily devotional, written from a solid christian perspective by women who have undergone treatment for cancer, starts with a daily entry about living with a cancer diagnosis, a prayer, a daily tip and scriptural references.
This book has been an anchor and comfort for me during my treatments of two cancer diagnosis'. It is my "desert island" cancer book.
Cancer is an insidious disease, But God is greater than that.
Get this book! It will ease your suffering greatly and keep you in the word of God where there is healing.

I bought this for my Mom right after she was diagnosed. She has found a lot of inspiration and comfort in this book. It made me feel wonderful to be able to give her something to help her during this difficult time. I would highly recommend this as a gift for anyone that has been diagnosed with Cancer.

My wife, asked her freind, who has cancer. "What has helped you"? She told her about this book.
We have given this to others with cancer and they all say it has helped their heart be set free from fear.
If you know anyone who has cancer, this is the book to get.
